Step Two

Choose the right PVC Strip Type

We offer a variety of PVC strips for a wide range of applications

Clear Smooth

Crystal clear transparent, flexible smooth vinyl for indoor or outdoor applications from -10° to 150°. Versatile and economical material for a wide range of applications.

Low Temperature

Made with the softest, most flexible, low temp formulation on the market, to prevent strips from cracking in cold temperatures. Designed for freezer applications to -40° F.

Ribbed

Durable ribbed material reduces scratching from loads passing through the opening. Designed for heavy-duty, high-traffic applications in environment from -10° to 150°.

Anti-Insect Yellow Ribbed

Our exclusive Anti-Insect formulation repels flying insects with Citronella and prevents infiltration of the facility. Yellow color inhibits insect’s ability to detect light behind curtain.

Anti - Static Smooth

Our exclusive Anti-Insect formulation repels flying insects with Citronella and prevents infiltration of the facility. Yellow color inhibits insect’s ability to detect light behind curtain.

Opaque Black

Flexible, opaque black vinyl material used to create a total sight barrier between areas. Ideal for openings in conveyor belt operations to prevent visual access behind the opening.

Safety Orange

Highlights the outer edges of the opening, alerting employees and improving safety. Recommended for use as outer edge strips for strip doors with motorized traffic.

Red Welding (Screen flex Red)

Provides protection as a partial sight barrier against ultra-light and blue light radiation in welding applications. Screenflex Red is compliant with AWS and ISO standards.

Amber Welding (screenflex Bronze)

Provides protection as a partial sight barrier against ultra-light and blue light radiation in welding applications. Screenflex Bronze is compliant with AWS and ISO.

Step Three

Choose The Right Strip Size

The height of your door opening is the primary consideration for choosing the right strip size (width x thickness). All applications are slightly different but these basic guidelines will help select the best size for your door opening.

Door Openings 6” High or Less - Create a lightweight pedestrian strip door, easy to pass through.

6” PVC Strips

Door Openings 8' to 10' High - Create a strip door that can be used easily by a pedestrian but durable enough to face motorized traffic.

8" x .080" PVC Strips

Door Openings 10' to 14' High - Create a durable heavy-duty industrial strip door heavy enough to stop airflow in larger openings.

12" x .120" PVC Strips

Door Openings 15' Feet High or More - Create the ultimate heavy-duty strip door kit to seal off the largest openings in industrial facilities.

16" x .160" PVC Strips

Step Four

Choose the right strip overlap percentage

All PVC Strip Doors feature overlapped PVC strips, that create a seal of the doorway. The amount of overlap is communicated by percentage. Depending on the width of the PVC strips, different percentages of overlap are available.
